Manage Fees
The Fees page allows you to manage and view all fees associated with your institution. Here's how to use the various features:

Accessing the Fees Page:
- Click on "Fees" in the left sidebar menu to access the Fees page.

Overview:
- The page displays a list of all fees, showing Fee Name, Amount, Start Date, Due Date, and Action options.
- The total number of fees is shown in the header (e.g., "Fees (4)").

Searching:
- Use the "Search" bar at the top to find specific fees by name or other attributes.

Sorting:
- Click the "Sort" dropdown to arrange fees based on different criteria (options not visible in the image).

Filtering by Class:
- Use the "Filter by Class" dropdown to view fees for specific classes.
- Options will list all classes available for your school e.g JSS1, JSS2, JSS3, SSS1, SSS2, and SSS3.
- Display table will be populate with configured fees for the selected class.
- Selecting General will show all fees that can be paid by all students. Any fee that should be paid by all students should be create in the General category.

Adding New Fees:

Click the "+ Add Fees" button to reveal a dropdown menu with the following options: a. Create New Fee: Manually add a new fee entry. b. Import Fee(s) from CSV: Upload multiple fees using a CSV file. c. Import Fee(s) from Excel: Upload multiple fees using an Excel file.

For manual creation, select "Create New Fee" and fill in the required details.

For bulk imports, prepare your CSV or Excel file with the necessary fee information, then choose the appropriate import option.

The import features allow for efficient addition of multiple fees at once, which can be particularly useful for setting up fees for a new term or academic year.
The Add Fee Form
When you select "Create New Fee" from the "+ Add Fees" dropdown, a new form will open with the following fields:
- Fee Name: Enter the name or description of the fee (e.g., "Technology Fee", "Inter House Sport").
- Amount (in Number): Input the numerical value of the fee without currency symbols.
- Start Date: Click the calendar icon to select or type the date when the fee becomes applicable in mm/dd/yyyy format.
- Due Date: Similarly, select or enter the deadline for fee payment.
- Classroom: Use the dropdown to select the applicable class or grade level for this fee.
- Status: The default status is "New". You can use the dropdown to change it if necessary.
Instructions for filling and submitting the form:
- Fill in all required fields. Ensure the fee name is clear and descriptive.
- Double-check the amount to avoid errors.
- Make sure the Start Date is earlier than or equal to the Due Date.
- Select the appropriate Classroom. If the fee applies to all classes, use the "General" option.
- Verify that the Status is correct for your needs.
- After filling out all fields, review the information for accuracy.
- Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the form to submit and create the new fee.
- If there are any errors or missing required fields, the form will highlight these for correction.
- Once successfully saved, you should see the new fee appear in the main fees list.
- Every student in the class will see this fee on their student dashboard and can make payments from the student dashboard.
Note: Be cautious when creating new fees, as this may affect student billing and financial records. Always double-check the information before saving. All fees for a class are used to project the expected income for each class.

Actions:
- The "..." menu at the end of each row likely contains options to edit or delete the fee.

Pagination:
- Navigate through multiple pages of fees using the pagination controls at the bottom.
- Choose the number of rows per page.

Additional Navigation:
- Use the top breadcrumb to return to the Dashboard.
- Other main sections like Email, Transactions, and Settings are accessible from the left sidebar.
